| A Dead Lat Day to end all Dead Lat Days I spent the break drawing stuff, and it came out pretty well, relative to what I can normally do. I'm not happy with most of it, though. I love how the first one came out. The first three are in response to seeing Hellsing, which is a freaking awesome anime. That character is Seras Victoria. Yet another female anime character uses my alias. -.- I didn't really do much with the 2nd drawing, so I don't have anything to say about that. I have a complaint about the 3rd drawing, but that's between realism and staying true to the anime I was drawing it from. In my humble opinion, cleavage should not really have any discernable shape through what I'm pretty sure was a flak vest. The 4th drawing is an original character from a story I'm writing. It's about time I gave some tangible form to the villain. You can expect to see a fully colored version of it later. The 5th one is another character from the same story. I like how his form turned out, and I like how the wings turned out, but the two together just aren't right. He's far too human to be half dragon. I'll have his appearance worked out eventually. You can expect a fully colored version of this also. Break was so sweet. And I still have the ability to digest meat, even after 4 months of ramen. W00t! New year's was kind of dull. We ended up playing Risk 2210 until 1 AM. When everyone left my house, I had the bright idea to watch all of Hellsing, without any breaks, starting at 3 AM. Hellsing is kind of intense, but very good. But, I was pretty dazed when I finished. After that, I had the even brighter idea to watch all of Serial Experiments Lain. After the first episode, I had to stagger up to bed. I thought I made it to my bed, up until the point where I woke up on the floor. Well, a few days later, when my sanity score was a little higher, I finished watching Lain. That series is awesome, but freaking weird. I loved it, but it's not for everyone. I'll have a new year's drawing up sometime soon, probably for the next comic. Oh, and I was thumbing around on Deviant Art, which is a site where people can post their art. I probably should stay away from this site, because it tends to make me feel extremely inadequate. Some people have way too much talent. That isn't a photo, btw. --Lat, January 9th, 2004 YEE!
